The Viewer Poem - People Don't Care About The World

Hi Blog World!
This week we have been posting about The Viewer (a book).
This is a Poem about the part when Tristan come's across a DUMP and we had to write a poem about it.

I was walking down the path and it started to get dark
I tripped over a piece of mouldy film
I had fell into a hole of disgusting garbage
All I could see is that people did not care of pollution
I heard children crying because they did not  have a roof under their heads
I saw a mysterious light I thought it would be good
I brought the children with me to the light

The Viewer Shaun Tan and Gary Crew Sound Scape

This week we have  been reading a book called The Viewer by Gary Crew and Shaun Tan. The last page we read was a part when the boy went to sleep and had a restless sleep...(Restless sleep means to not have a comfortable sleep).... So today we took a photo of our buddy pretending to have a restless sleep. My buddy was Ashlyn. There is a sound scape to it and I hope you enjoy!

My Week 4 Term 3 Reflection

Bom Dia Blog World!
This week my class had to do a reflection about how they did this week.
I hope you enjoy!

Week 4 Term 3 Reflection 2015

Backward-Looking:
What have been your learning highlights so far this term?
  1. My most favourite learning highlight so far this term Camp because I have experienced so many new things, that might help me in the future and of course because it was FUN.
  2. Mr Hopkins coming into our class because I get learn more things about the Chromebooks.
  3. Getting the privilege to play touch rugby.

Inward-Looking:
What were your Learner Profile goals for Term 3? Have your goals changed? Are you on track to meet your goals?
My goals for this term was to be a caring and principled.
I have met by being a principled learner goal, because at camp I showed good leadership skills.
I think I have met my goal about being caring, because if people at camp couldn’t do something I would show that I care for them by encouraging them to do it.

Outward-Looking:
If you were the teacher, what comments would you make about your learning so far this term?
Hunter has been working great so far this term her learning is really above.
But sometimes in class she can get a bit chatty but when she knows she gets chatty she will really focus.
If a friends says can you come work with me she would say sorry I’m really focused or she needs to finish something off.

Forward-Looking:
As you look back at your learning so far, what's one thing that you would like to try to improve upon over the next few weeks?
To stay so focused and really concentrate because I really need to aim high this term and start getting ready for intermediate.

My Comment On Nisha's Remember Poem

Hi Blog World!
Last week we went on Camp and we had to write a Remember Poem and then comment on someone else's.
I chose to comment on Nisha's, I recommend for you to read Nisha's because it really made me laugh.

Camp Adventure 2015! With My Remember Poem

HI Blog World this is my Remember Poem about Camp with a Collage, hope you enjoy!

That Was Camp.

Remember when I was waiting my turn to go on the Giant Ladder and I just couldn't wait?
Remember when it was my turn to go on the Giant Ladder with my friend Nisha and I was so hyped up?
That was Camp.

Remember when I saw people go to kayak surfing which I thought was so cool?
Remember when the kayak toppled over my head and I felt trapped because I have drowned before and it felt like I was going to drown but I thought of being resilient and I got back into the water?
That was Camp.

Remember when I was so tired so we got into our pyjamas, brushed our teeth and snuggled up into our beds?
Do you remember that CAMP when it took most of the girls quite a while to settle down ?

That was Camp.

Term 1 Week 8 Reflection

What? This week I did a lot of tests, some them were an IKAN test and a e-astle maths test and a reading e-astle test.

So what? I did all of them for my maths e-astle test I scored a 3P and I was a little disappointed but I’m still proud of myself. For my IKAN test I did well but forgot my score, last of all my reading test I actually now my score but I hope I did good.

Now what? What I would like to do is practice my basic facts and read every day. Also to do a lot of prototec tests in class and home.
